Vision Custom Builders, LLC offers a variety of home improvement services, and we feel communication is in the forefront to make any service the best it can be, and have remodeling made easy.

THE PROBLEM
Why do you get three bids, and the prices are very different? Who do you trust? Where do you go from here?
Estimates can be vague and incomplete, with many questions left unanswered on both sides. Often times multiple estimates can be received with 1000"s of dollars in price variables, for the same work.
This occurs by lack of information, or not comparing apples to apples, within the same project.
Remodeling and building horror stories are all too common, and usually start with these three reasons:
1.) The customer hired the cheapest "contractor", and expected to get the same workmanship, warranty, accommodation and general services of a professional. This rarely happens.
2.) The project lacked clear and frequent communication, resulting in delays, dissapointment, and much higher costs to the homeowner.
3.) The customer expected to get "A", but gets "B" because there was no scope of work, or it was incomplete for the bid to be prepared from.
THE SOLUTION
Vision Custom Builders, LLC use what we call a Complete Home Evaluation (CHE), in lieu of an estimate for larger projects. It is an all inclusive list of how things are in real terms and includes the whole house, so nothing is overlooked.
An accurate scope of work and complete product selections list will help minimize these problems.
With a CHE, you begin what is called "the Process", developed by a friend and very well respected mind in the contracting industry, the late Sonny Lykos, founder of the top 50 remodeling firm The Lykos Group, Inc.
